Plunder Hell, Populate Heaven: Partner With Daniel & Katie Through e3 Canada

By Daniel Ziedins · DanielZiedins.com

The biblical case for Gospel partnership, the story of Daniel & Katie Ziedins' evangelism ministry with e3 Canada, and five practical ways to pray, go, and send with them.

Jesus never described His church as a fortress waiting out a siege. He said, "I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it" (Matthew 16:18). Gates don't attack anyone. Gates are what a city hides behind. In Jesus' picture, the church is on offence and darkness is the one on defence.

The evangelist Reinhard Bonnke gave a generation of believers a rallying cry for that offence: plunder hell and populate heaven. It sounds like a slogan, but it is really a summary of the Gospel. Jesus said no one can carry off a strong man's possessions unless he first ties up the strong man (Matthew 12:29). At the cross He did exactly that. What He carries off are not treasures. They are people.

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians 1:13–14

Every rescue has a name

Heaven doesn't celebrate statistics. In Luke 15 Jesus tells three stories in a row: one lost sheep, one lost coin, one lost son. Each ends in a party, and He says there is "more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent" (Luke 15:7).

That is what "plundering hell" looks like up close: a man on a downtown sidewalk who thought he was too far gone, a young mother who asked for prayer and found a Father, a family member who finally said yes after years of being prayed for. Populating heaven happens one name at a time.

What God has been doing on the streets

For Katie and me, it began in 2014 with coffee, a downtown sidewalk in Hamilton, and one question: "Can we pray with you for anything?" No stage, no strategy, no budget. Just a conviction that the people everyone walks past are the people Jesus walks toward. By God's grace, that small step grew into a movement:

  • Love on Hamilton started in 2014 as weekly street outreach that pairs practical care with prayer and the Gospel. It still goes out every week.
  • Love on The World carries the same heart to more cities: evangelism, equipping believers, and lives transformed across Canada.
  • Overflow launched in 2022 as a Sunday evening service where the Holy Spirit was given full permission to move. Love Overflow Trainings now equip believers and churches to share their faith with boldness and love.
  • The Jesus Festival is a free citywide gathering in Hamilton where thousands have come together to worship and hear about Jesus.
  • The Outpouring was a night of prayer, worship, and commissioning on Pentecost Sunday 2026, hosted by e3 Canada and I Am Second Canada.

Along the way we have watched chains of addiction break, bodies and hearts healed, and men and women baptised who once believed God could never want them. None of it was our doing. To God be all the glory. You can read the full story and the testimonies at KD-Ziedins.com.

Why we serve with e3 Canada

Winning someone to Jesus is the beginning, not the finish line. The Great Commission is to make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20). That's why we partner with e3 Ministry Canada, whose mission is "Equipping God's people to Evangelize His world and Establish His Church." Equip, evangelise, establish: that is the multiplying pattern Paul handed to Timothy.

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

2 Timothy 2:2

Count the generations in that verse: Paul, Timothy, reliable people, and the others they teach. Four generations of disciples in one sentence. When a believer on a Hamilton street learns to share their faith and then trains a friend to do the same, hell loses ground it never gets back.

Sending is a calling, not a side role

Scripture never treats the people who send as spectators. Paul asks, "How can anyone preach unless they are sent?" (Romans 10:14–15). He thanked the Philippians for their "partnership in the gospel from the first day until now" (Philippians 1:3–5), and he told them their giving was fruit "credited to your account" (Philippians 4:17). John says the ones who support Gospel workers "work together for the truth" (3 John 8).

Two Old Testament scenes make the point unforgettable. When Israel fought the Amalekites, the battle in the valley turned on Aaron and Hur holding up Moses' arms on the hill (Exodus 17:8–13). And when David recovered everything that had been stolen at Ziklag, he made it a rule for Israel: "The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle" (1 Samuel 30:24). In God's economy, the ones who hold the rope share the reward of the ones who go down the well.

How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

Romans 10:15

Five ways to stand with us

God has put a big vision in front of us: cities revived, believers equipped to share their faith, and Canada set ablaze for Christ. We can't carry it alone, and we were never meant to. Here are five real ways to be part of it:

Where the mission is happening

The ministries connected to this story, each with its own way to get involved.

  • KD Ziedins (KD-Ziedins.com): Daniel & Katie Ziedins — Love Overflow. Street evangelism, equipping trainings, and Gospel partnership through e3 Canada.
  • Love on The World (LoveonTheWorld.com): Mobilizing believers to love people, share Jesus, and serve their communities with bold compassion.
  • Love on Hamilton (LoveonHamilton.com): Loving one city well — practical, local outreach that puts the Gospel on the ground in Hamilton.
  • Jesus Festival (JesusFestival.ca): Gathering cities around worship, the Gospel, prayer, and unity across the whole local church.

The fields are ready

Jesus told His disciples, "Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest" (John 4:35). We believe Canada is on the edge of its greatest revival, because we keep meeting people who are hungry for God. The story ends where Revelation says it will: "a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne" (Revelation 7:9). Heaven will be full. The only question is whose names we get to help write into the story. Let's go get them, together, in Jesus' name.
