A convert is a beginning, not a finish line
We celebrate decisions — and we should. But a decision without discipleship often becomes a memory instead of a transformation. Someone has to walk with a new believer through the first hard week, the first honest question, the first relapse.
Help for new believers and those discipling them
Two places built for exactly this — new life in Christ and men growing together in Scripture:

The four-generation test
Paul gave Timothy a template with four generations in a single sentence: Paul → Timothy → reliable people → others also. If your discipleship stops at generation two, it's mentoring. If it reaches generation four, it's multiplication.
And the things you have heard me say… entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

Keep it simple enough to copy
- Read Scripture together — actually open it, don't just talk about it.
- Ask honest questions and create space for honest answers.
- Pray together, out loud, in plain words.
- Do ministry with them, not just for them.
- Send them out to do the same with someone else.
